We have had Milo now for a little over a month (it feels like forever!). It hasn't been easy by any means and I have found myself doing things for this kitty that I would have never thought I would do for a cat, especially one that I never necessarily wanted. Sometime I even found myself shedding tears over the darn thing. So obviously, I am attached. On June 11th I took Milo to the vet. His little cold and crusty eyes were just not getting better and it had been two weeks. The vet was wonderful. Milo had pink eye and a sinus infection, so she gave me eye drops and an oral antibiotic. After a few days, he was already looking better and even was more spunky that he was before. Since Isabelle left for four weeks to spend time with her dad for two weeks and with my mom for and additional two weeks, Milo would be alone. Well, the girls that were coming over to watch Isabelle during the day, volunteered to come over a couple times during the day to potty and feed Milo. That was a HUGE relief for me! Now Milo is about 7 weeks old. He is eating soft kitten food and still drinking kitty formula out of a bottle. Just this morning he drank some formula out of a bowl - YEAH! He is also using a litter box fairly well, only a few accidents. He is a good little kitty and we (well, maybe minus Kent, although I think Milo might be growing on him...) are happy he is here. Mia and Milo play so nice together and he is just so cute. It has been fun watching him grow. I don't have the greatest pictures of him because he doesn't sit still long enough to get him. Hopefully I will be able to sometime.
